My stay at the hotel was lovely, although we felt as though we were getting bitten in bed at night, so maybe more could be done to reduce the chances of mosquitos getting in the rooms. The temperature was still at the same freezing level, but overall, it was right on point with what we expected. The staff that stood out to me was the life guards at Wild Orchid Preferred Club, the entertainment team, and the Resort crew.

The rooms were nice, but we had some concerns about feeling bitten by mosquitos at night. Temperature was a bit too cold for my liking, just like the freezer temperature. Still, it matched our expectations. I did have to inform them about a blown bulb in the room.

The service was so accommodating and simply amazing. I must say that the bands and entertainment crew were top-notch. The staff always went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, although there were a few with sour faces.

The location was nice and quiet, but it didn't feel very private as anyone could enter the area. The bars service and cocktail service were great, but the overall space felt a bit small for a resort of this size. The option of having burgers and chicken for lunch or a snack was convenient.

The dining experience was good with a large variety, but having only one option for dining at wheretogowhich (the buffet) was limiting. Unfortunately, the experience was preceded by a 3-hour hard sell pitch for a 'Secrets' timeshare. However, I was never disappointed with the food itself.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was amazing, with a lovely view of the beach and ocean. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, offering more than some other Secrets properties I have visited. The service was exceptional, from check-in to check-out and every interaction in between, making my husband's birthday a memorable evening. However, some staff members were rude and inattentive, which was disappointing.
